PegaRULES Log Analyzer

The PegaRULES Log Analyzer (PLA) tool is a Web application that consolidates and summarizes application system log data. Developers and system administrators can use this information to quickly identify, diagnose, and address issues that may be degrading system performance or compromising stability. Most important, PLA flags critical issues that could lead to a processing failure.

PLA uses the following logs: Alert log, Pega (system) log, and the JVM garbage collection (GC) log.

It is recommended that you use PLA to test a new or reconfigured Process Commander application immediately after deployment into a production environment. This is the phase when most major performance issues are likely to occur due to the effects of real-world scaling and processing demands.
