Smart Feedback

Smart Feedback enables Pega 7 application users to send product feedback to a connected PMF system. In addition to typing text feedback, users can take screen and video captures, and attach other files to their feedback. Along with these details, the resulting feedback item that is created in PMF contains a system information file that is attached by default. This system information file contains information about the user, their system, application rulesets, and so on.

Screen and video captures are available only on Chrome browser through browser extension that you can download from within the Feedback gadget.

Currently, feedback from Pega 7 applications can only be sent to a connected PMF system. A subsequent release of this component might have extension points available for you to send feedback to any system.

Integrating this component with your Pega 7 application portal

1. Link creation: Drop a link or button in the section where the feedback is to be triggered, and add the on click action to launch Smart Feedback.
2. Link configuration: Configure a run script and a local action for the on click action of the link as follows:
   • Run script:

3. PMF integration: Navigate to Designer Studio > System > Settings > Project Management, and add the following mandatory (highlighted) details:
   1. Add the PMF URL and PMF SOAP URL, and save the connection details.
   2. Check Project tracking, and enter the relevant PMF product ID.
