High-speed data page support

Updated on May 4, 2020

In Pega® 7.3.1, high-speed read-only data pages are available and enabled by default. This implementation is useful when data pages are used to hold static data that is used repeatedly. If you experience performance issues during high throughput, you can use a restricted feature set for a specific read-only data page by selecting Restricted feature set for high throughput on the Load management tab of the data page rule. When you use the restricted feature set, the following functionality is not supported:

  • Declarative rules
  • Page messages
  • Complex property references
  • Saving pages to a database
  • API access to the data page
