SAP Integration: What's New in Pega 7

Updated on September 10, 2021

Seamlessly integrate your Pega and SAP applications by creating SAP and SAPJCo connectors and services. The Pega® Process Extender for SAP® Business Suite allows PRPCTM applications to work seamlessly with your SAP® R/3® (ECC) and NetWeaver® systems.

Automatically generate Connect-SAP or Connect-SAPJCo connectors.

Connect to selected data like invoice and general ledger information from your SAP system for use in your targeted, agile work processes. Easily integrate data to rapidly deploy new applications to market.

SAP connectors in your PRPC application easily  connect to an existing SAP SOAP web service. PRPC's Connector and Metadata Wizard makes it simple to create a Connect SAP connector using an SAP WSDL.

For JCo architecture, using prerequisite SAP software, you can create a Java class (or multiple classes) for consumption by the wizard.

Publish services in PRPC for consumption by SAP systems with Service-SAP and Service-SAPJCo rules.

PRPC SAP Services can be used to create and manage work, invoke existing activity rules, or process input or output data. You can create a PRPC Service SAP web service then create and deploy an SAP WSDL using the Service Package feature.

JCo services require SAP software. You can first create a PRPC Service SAPJCo Service in Rules Explorer, then deploy a proxy SAPJCo Java interface with Service Package.
