Back Forward Designer Studio — Using the Profile menu

OperatorMenu

The Profile menu provides access to your preferences, your password, and other rules and data information about yourself.

Click the down arrow (Operator Menu down arrow) next to your name to access the Profile menu.

Use these menu choices to review your profile, specific rules, and system-wide features.

Menu item

Description

Profile

Displays your current profile. See Help — Operator Profile. From the profile, you can change the password in your Operator ID data instance.

Preferences

Review or change personal preferences used in your particular assigned portal. For example, use Preferences to specify those settings you want applied by default when working in the Designer Studio or in the Business Analyst portal). Setting your preferences.

Operator

Open your Operator ID data instance. About Operator ID data instances.

Access Group

Open your current access group data instance. About Access Group data instances.

Application

Open the application rule for the current application, one that is referenced in your current access group data instance. About Application rules.

My Favorites > Edit Favorites

Review and adjust favorite rules, which are delegated to you. See How to delegate a rule.

My Shortcuts > Organize Shortcuts

Review or change activity shortcuts — saved URL values that provide quick access to specific activities or V5 reports. See About Activity Shortcuts.

My Recent Work > item

Open a work item you entered or updated in your current requestor session. The menu identifies work items by work item ID and subject. See Viewing your recent work.
