Back Forward Explorers

Explorer tools support developers and business analysts who need to access portions of specific applications, the class hierarchy, and the PegaRULES database. Each explorer (described below) provides a path to different aspects of the system and makes it easier to find what you're looking for.

Explorer capabilities differ depending on your role and the purpose of the explorer itself. For example, in the Class Explorer, you can identify the subclasses of a class and the properties, activities, and flows associated with the class. In many cases, you can list instances, open an instance, edit it, and save the changes.

To control which explorers appear in the navigation area of the Designer Studio, update your preferences by selecting Preferences from your profile menu.
