This tab displays the CSS files that are applied to portal workspaces, reports, and rule forms.

The fields that display are dependent upon whether the skin is auto-generated or not. Auto-generated skins are recommended.

Auto-generated skins

This tab displays the CSS files applied to portal workspaces, reports, and rule forms. Optionally, you can add additional style sheets to this skin.

If you create a new skin, only the Rule and Work fields appear.

Desktop	If you upgraded an existing skin, displays the name of the `css/desktop` rule that defines styles for the PRPC portal workspaces and navigation panel.
Report	If you upgraded an existing skin, displays the name of the `css/report` rule that defines styles for the PRPC list view and summary view displays.
Work	Displays the name of the `css/workform` that defines styles for the user forms defined though harness rules, section rules and flow action rules. If you upgraded an existing skin, the `css/workform` is automatically generated. To disable automatic generation, click the Disable Generation link. If you are creating a new skin, automatic CSS file generation is disabled. To enable automatic CSS file generation, click the Enable automatic generation link. If you want to apply a different skin to a harness within your application, enable automatic CSS file generation and paste the `css/workform` file name in the Style field on the Scripts and Styles tab of the Harness rule.
Rule	Displays the name of the `css/ruleformstyles_` rule that defines styles for the PRPC rule forms. Do not attempt to remove capabilities from rule forms by making the styles not visible to developers. This approach may interfere with proper operation of the rule form, or affect multiple rule forms in unexpected ways.

Additional Style Sheets

As a best practice, avoid adding custom style sheets. If you are using a custom style sheet:

for custom or non auto-generated controls, add these styles to the skin rule as custom styles. See Skin rule — Custom.
to create additional styles for auto-generated layouts and controls, such as smartlayouts, grids, tabs, buttons, and links, create new formats in the skin rule.

Styles in the Skin rule use auto-generated CSS for ease of maintenance and upgrade.

If you choose to add a custom style sheet to the skin:

Click and type the file name.
Save the rule. Note the caution regarding maintainability.

The order in which you enter style sheets is significant; the bottom style sheet is applied last.

To delete a style sheet from a skin, select the style sheet that you want to delete and click Delete Link .

Non auto-generated skins

For non auto-generated skins, you must provide a .css text file for each style sheet indicated.

Work

Specify the name of the css/workform that defines styles for the user forms defined though harness rules, section rules and flow action rules.

Report

Specify the name of the css/report rule that defines styles for the PRPC list view and summary view displays.

Rule

Specify the name of the css/ruleformstyles_ rule that defines styles for the PRPC rule forms.
