Create a new JNDI Server data instance by selecting JNDI Server from the Integration-Resources category.

A JNDI Server data instance has a single-part key, the name:

Description

Server Name Enter a name for this JNDI server. Begin the name with a letter and use only alphanumeric, ampersand, and dash characters.

Two JNDI server names have special meaning: ABLAL 1/30/09

  • localEJBsC-1627 If the intent for this JNDI server instance is to support an EJB connector that connects to an EJB through its local interface, enter the literal value localEJBs. Then, leave the rest of the JNDI Server form blank.
  • remoteEBJrefs — If the intent for this JNDI server is to support an EJB connector that connects to a remote EJB through an EJB reference rather than its JNDI name, enter the literal value remoteEJBrefs. Then, leave the rest of the JNDI server form blank.
