Favorites

A favorite is a link that provides quick access to a rule or data instance (also referred to as a delegated rule) when working in the Designer Studio or in the Case Manager portal.

Developers can create and work with favorites in these ways:

• To create a favorite link to a rule when you are in the rule form, click Actions > Add to Favorites on the toolbar. Complete the dialog box. See How to delegate a rule.
• To open a favorite rule, select My Favorites > label from your profile menu, or open the Private Explorer and select the favorite from there.
• To remove or relabel a favorite rule, or to remove a rule delegated to you, select My Favorites > Edit Favorites from your profile menu. Complete the dialog box and click Submit. From the Private Explorer, select a favorite, right click, and select Delete this favorite.
• To run a favorite such as a process or activity from the Private Explorer, select the favorite, right click, and select Run.

Notes

• You cannot designate a checked out rule as a favorite.
• The Add to Favorites option is visible to developers who hold the privilege @baseclass.ToolbarFull.
