Back Forward Identifier

An Identifier is a property type for text strings that do not contain line break characters, double-quote characters, or other control characters such as tab.

In contrast, the Text property mode can include double quote characters, line break characters, and other control characters. KHATV 5/8/08

PRPC requires that certain values — such as keys to rules and index values for Value Group and Page Group elements — meet the more restrictive requirements of a Java identifier (except that dash characters are allowed). To restrict a property value to meet the Java identifier restrictions:
