PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager

The PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager™ (PDM) is an optional server software component supporting Correspondence Output Server. PRPC uses PDM version 3.3.5.

Word DOC files sent to PegaDISTRIBUTION Manager can be:

• Printed on a Windows printer
• Transmitted by fax to a fax receiver
• Converted to Portable Document Format and sent back to the PRPC server to become a work item attachment C-2438

The PDM operates on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server or XP systems only and uses Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or Oracle for database. If your PRPC server is hosted on UNIX-based hardware (from Sun Microsystems, IBM, or other vendors), a separate low-cost Windows-based system is needed to host the PDM. If your PRPC server is hosted on Windows, PDM can be co-hosted on that server.

Don't confuse this component (PDM) with the PDN (PDN).
