Primary path
The primary path of a process defines the main steps that a case follows from start to completion as it goes through the business process. The primary path is usually those essential steps the case must take to successfully resolve the process.
In the Discovery Map view of a process, the primary path runs left-to-right along the top row of the displayed process.
