Back Forward Ticket

A ticket is a named location in a flow diagram that marks processing that occurs when an external event interrupts the normal planned progress of a work item through a flow.

For example, a ticket can start the back-out processing that can occur when a customer withdraws the request that caused the work item to be created in the first case.

When editing a flow using Process Modeler, you can select or enter a ticket name in the Properties panel for Assignment shapes, End shapes and certain other shapes.

A ticket is an instance of the Rule-Obj-Ticket rule type.

The ticket name appears beside the shape on the flow. If you wish to display a name other than the ticket name, enter a value in the Display Name field.

Tickets are not related to trouble tickets, an informal name for work items used some help desk applications.
