Adding a Signature Capture control

About Harnesses

You can add the pxSignatureCapture control to a cell, enabling users to capture a user signature, either through a mouse input or though a touch interaction on a mobile device.

The Signature Capture control is responsive when added to a dynamic layout. Interacting with the signature capture field in an application opens a dialog box with a field for inputting a signature. Once a signature is entered, it is added to the work item as an image attachment.

Adding a Signature Capture control

  1. In the harness, section, or flow action, click the down-arrow Arrow at the right end of the Advanced controls group and select the Signature Capture control.
  2. Drag the control into the layout and release the mouse button to drop the control.
    If you are using a cell-based layout and you drag the control into a cell that is not empty, then the dropped control replaces the current contents of the cell.
  3. Click the gear icon Magnifying glass to display the Cell Properties panel.
  4. On the Properties panel, define the radio button using the following tabs:
