Purpose

A RuleSet version rule identifies a three-level version number for a RuleSet.

Although RuleSet and RuleSet Version are two distinct rule types, they are maintained in a single RuleSet form. Use the Versions tab on the form to:

• Lock the version to prohibit changes to rule instances.
• Record a start date for the version.
• Identify dependencies between this RuleSet version and other versions.
• Review, add, delete, or update versions to an existing RuleSet.
  

Access

RuleSet version rules do not appear in the Records Explorer; use the explorer to list all RuleSet rules (part of the SysAdmin category) in your system. Open a RuleSet to see its versions.

Select > Application > Structure to view a list of RuleSets in your application (including those your application is built on), and a list of prerequisites for each RuleSet.

Rule Type

RuleSet version is an instance of the Rule-RuleSet-Version rule type.
