Review the Differences Found Report

After you select two rule instances to compare and click the Compare button, the Differences Found report appears. The display is a table, with each row listing the property name, its value in the first rule instance selected, its value in the second rule instance, and whether the difference was a value change, an insertion, or a deletion (presuming that the first file selected is the original and the second is derived from it).

Values that are too long to display in the table are represented by an ellipsis (...). Click the entry in the Difference column of any row to see the differences in more detail in a pop-up window.

You can save the comparison to a spreadsheet for further study by clicking the Export to Excel button above the table.

Click the <<Back button to return to the first form to choose other rule instances to compare, or click Close to close the utility.
