Simulations allow you to check the availability of customer data, data classes, and report definition rules. Typically, system architects create and configure definition of input data, output settings, and topology while business users define and trigger simulations. To create a simulation you execute an interaction that is based on a data set.
Note: Simulations have been superseded by the Data Flows rules instances. The conversion wizard in the Simulations landing page allows you to convert all the existing and completed simulations into the Data Flows rule instances.
