Documenting applications, application profiles, or specifications

You can document an application, an application profile, or specifications depending on the needs of your project. When you create application documentation, you can use the generated Word document to share project-related information, designs, and implementations with stakeholders.

Use the following methods to document an application, an application profile, or specifications:

• Use the Document Application tool to document an application, an application profile, or specifications. Open this tool from the Designer Studio menu by clicking Application > Tools > Document. You can use the tool to customize options.

  You can also open the Document Application tool from the Application Overview landing page. From the Actions menu, click Document Application > Application Document.

• To quickly document an application profile, bypass the Document Application tool. From the Actions menu on the Application Overview landing page, click Document Application > Application Profile. Generation of the Word document for the application profile starts immediately.
