Use this tab to secure changes to your application, configure content management and enable content security. Optionally configure the application for federated case management and project management.

Select Require password to update application if you want users to enter a password to update the application rule and click Update password to set the password.

Content management for Cases

Optional. Use these fields to configure your application to access, store, and version content in an external enterprise content management system (ECM). Various ECM systems such as Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum, IBM FileNet, and Alfresco support the OASIS CMIS specification. For more information about enterprise content management configuration, see articles in the Integration area of the PDN.

Attachments saved in an external ECM are not crawled, indexed, or retrieved by the Pega 7 Platform's full text search facilities.

Content storage

Field

Description

Enable content storage in a CMIS repository

Select this check box to enable the storage of case attachments in a CMIS repository.

Connector Name

Select or create a Connect CMIS rule that will be used to connect to the external CMIS system.

Root level folder

Click Browse to select the directory location on the content management system to store case attachments for this application.

Give users the option to delete content from repository Select this check box to enable the option of removing attachments from cases while retaining the content in the CMIS repository. This check box is cleared by default.

Content sourcing

Enable content sourcing from CMIS repositories

Select this check box to allow the browsing and selection of content in a CMIS repository for case attachments.

Label for 'Upload CMIS content' menu item Enter a description for the menu item that you will see when using Attach new for case attachments. If this field is empty, the system uses the default value "Content from CMIS".

Federated case management

This array appears only if there is a remote case type defined in the current application and the Show in New Work Menu option is selected on the Case Type rule form's Remote Case Configuration tab. See Case Type form – Completing the Remote Case Configuration tab.

Remote Case Type Name The case type's Short Description value. Read only.
Implementation Class The case type's Applies To class. Read only.

Project management

Description

Enable Project Management If there is a Project Management Framework (PMF) instance on your system, select to make project tracking features available to developers in the current application. This setting updates the Project Tracking check box on the System Settings landing page, Project Management tab. See System category — Settings page: Resource URLs, Compiler, Search, Security Policies, System Name and Project Management tabs

Content security

You can select an existing Content Security Policy from the options provided, or create a new one by clicking the icon to the right of the field.
