Adding a banner for mobile app download

When users access a web application on their desktops, you can notify them that a mobile app is available for their application that they can download. This notification is done by means of a smart app banner, which includes a link for the user to download the mobile app.

Note: You must have a valid, signed SSL certificate and use HTTPS in the link that is displayed in the smart app banner for your app to be downloaded to an iOS device.

To create a smart app banner:

1. In Designer Studio, click the name of your Pega 7 Platform application and click Open Mobile Apps.
2. Click a custom or an SDK mobile app icon.
3. In the General tab, in the Publish section, select the Advertise using the smart app banner check box.
4. Click Save.
