SSH FTP for FTP server records

Updated on March 16, 2017

By using SSH FTP (SFTP) in an FTP server record, you can use SSH keys to securely transfer files. You enable and configure SFTP by opening the FTP Server record and selecting SSH FTP (SFTP) in the Protocol section.

FTP Server record provides the following features for SFTP:

  • An optional reference to an authentication profile record that contains any required user name and password credentials
  • An optional custom Keystore record that contains the SSH public keys of SFTP servers to restrict connectivity to known hosts
  • A custom Keystore record that contains only the client private SSH key for servers that require a key for login
  • Detailed information for test connectivity for better understanding of connection activity
