Summary

The number of batch requestors does not exceed 10, even though the agent or thread pool size is set to 50 in prconfig.xml file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set the agent or thread pool size to 50 in prconfig.xml file.
2. Check for the number of batch requestors while processing.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect or misconfiguration in PRPC operating environment. In PRPC enterprise (EAR) deployment, configure the work manager and specify a limit to the number of worker threads. This configuration is discussed in the installation manual for the product.

Resolution

Increase the number of worker threads in an EAR deployment to allow a larger number of simultaneous batch requestors.
