Dynamic layout's are not supported in PDF Generations

SA-6455

Summary

Issue with Dynamic Layout’s for PDF generations , even though they use Inline grid triple in the PDF generation it is showing in the stacked manner that is one by one rather than showing in three column format
If they move the sections layout’s to Smart/Freeform layout it is working as expected

Error Messages

User Interface look and feel is not good if we use Dynamic layouts

Steps to Reproduce

Run the flow which uses the activity pyAttachAsPDF for a dynamic layout section

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
In order to fit all of the content into a fixed-width document, content appear vertically stacked

Resolution

A browser can handle HTML layouts in a flexible way. A PDF is a static document with hard constraints on margins and layout. The only way to fix that issue is to modify and normalize the HTML so that it works within those constraints.
So it is advised that use free form layout or smart layout for HTMLtoPDF generation.
