Summary

Excel doesn't open with data on click of 'Edit in Excel' option in Data Table.

Steps to Reproduce

Go to Data Tables > Edit data instances > Edit in Excel

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. (Active-X installation issue)

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change: 


Remove Active-X files from desktop.

    Go to "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files" (OR) InternetExplorer --> Internet Options --> Settings --> View Objects.

    Delete all the files from above location.

Add PRServlet Context host address as trusted site as below

Re-Login to PRPC application. Install Active-X files during log-in.

Perform Edit in Excel usecase.
