Elasticsearch fails to find Data instances

SA-26953

Summary

Data instances do not appear in the search results. Users tried data re-indexing; however, they still cannot see the search results.

Error Messages

No matching search results found

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Data class that doesn't directly inherit from 'Data-'. Example given above.
2. Create instances of this data class.
3. Re-index 'Data' class.
4. Search for the instances of data class in pegasearch toolbar provided and system will display 'No matching search results found.'

Root Cause

Microsoft patches are missing.

Resolution

To index Data- inherited class instances, the class should have a ruleform associated with it (even if it is dummy).

Perform the following local-change:
  1. In the class definition form, click the Advanced tab and for Ruleform Type, select Harness.
  2. Re-index after the change has been made to the class definition.
