Summary
Errors are generated in the PegaRULES log file when dealt with decision tree in Pega 7.1.7.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open the PegaSample EvaluateReport decision tree.
- Check the logs for the error.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The error occurs when the pzGetListFromPageSource function has preDataTransform and preActivity values that are set to the string value "null" rather than actual null.
Resolution
Apply HFix-27997.
