How to add cookies to HTTPConnect rules

Summary



Developer attempts to send cookies via "Set-Cookie" directive in the HTTP header of a Connect-HTTP rule. When using the ruleform only the last "Set-Cookie" is added to the HTTP request header.


Resolution



Only one Set-Cookie header can be used with a Connect HTTP rule.

If you are setting the cookie manually using Set-Cookie option, your rules are responsible for constructing the complete cookie (including the PegaRULES cookie. The value of the PegaRULES cookie should be the Requestor ID.)

Create the cookie string by concatenating all the cookies that requires to be sent, including the PegaRULES cookie, into one string. Please see the following PDN article for additional details:
