Summary

The application is designed such that it shows  list of work objects in  repeat grid along with an icon at the right most cell of the grid.
On clicking on this icon on a row, the corresponding Work Object gets loaded into clipboard in the thread /$WorkProcessing into pyWorkPage This is working fine for IE8 and Chrome. But while using the FireFox this loading is not happening.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a grid view containing Work Objects and an icon at the end of each row.
Call a Local Action Modal Window on click of the icon.
In The clipboard, check if the WorkObject is loaded.

Root Cause

Developer used Launch > Local Action which is not creating \$WorkProcessing thread in Firefox.
So workobject data is not getting loaded into clipboard and hence no further actions are done.

Resolution

Use handle List Items > Open local action.
"Handle List Items" actions are recommended to be used on repeating layouts.
"Handle List Items" will act on the row page context i.e. based on the selected row.
 If the icon is in grid action top / bottom, then we can use launch local action.
