Incorrect state codes formatting in drop-down list

SA-11882

Summary

Two state codes in the drop-down list of Advance search have incorrect formatting. They are not displayed in standard format. The codes "in" and "MS." must be replaced with IN and MS, respectively.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to the system.
2. Select a property that has field value as pyState and control as Dropdown.
3. Run the use case, and observe the drop-down values.

Root Cause

Pega fetches the values from pyState field values. The property uses the drop-down control. In turn, it searches the pyCaption field value to check if any translations exist for the results generated from pyState field values. In this case (for the states IN and MS) a pyCaption field value (ref : @baseclass • pyCaption • in) holds "in" (lower case) value and other pyCaption field value holds "Ms." This is because pyCaption over rides the values in corresponding pyState.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Create a field value "in" and "MS." of type pyCaption in user's class, and set the value to upper case IN and MS.
