InitializationFailedError in log file during PRPC start-up

Summary



PRPC server does not start-up after developers have recently deployed a Product file containing Rules and Instances.

ERROR MESSAGES

com.pega.pegarules.pub.context.InitializationFailedError: PRNodeImpl init failed
com.pega.pegarules.pub.context.PRSecurityException: Unable to construct authorization core due to authorization failure
com.pega.pegarules.pub.context.InvalidConfigurationException: No such Rule-Application instance: DEMO 01.01.22

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Deploy the product file and restart PRPC

ROOT CAUSE

The application referenced by the Access Group inside the RequestorType was having invalid entry.

RESOLUTION


Suggested developer to change the System Name in the prconfig.xml to "pega" and restart the server. This should help overcome the PRPC start-up error.
