Issue with autocomplete minimum search characters

SA-6014

Summary

Configured an auto complete to perform search only on entering minimum three search characters.
But search is performed even if i enter one character.

Error Messages

No error message.

Steps to Reproduce

Configure auto complete control and give min search characters to three.
In the UI it should perform search only on entering three characters.

ROOT CAUSE &

Resolution

The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error.

The explanation for this behavior is as follows:

The issue the user reported is an expected behaviour.
When we specify the no in the Min Search Characters in the auto complete property it triggers autocomplete field after entering specified number of characters.
But when users are pressing the down arrow, they are forcibly triggering the autocomplete field (which gets generated even after entering '< specified number' of characters.)
This is an expected behaviour.
