Summary

The application has been upgraded from PRPC 5.5 to PRPC 7.1.7.

Exceptions are thrown when trying to open/save rules in List View that were imported from 5.5 into 7.1.7 application.

Although the same rule works fine in PRPC 5.5. the below message is seen when they save this list view or checkout this rule.
'Please Select a Column that is of same type as field'.

Error Messages

'Please Select a Column that is of same type as field'.

Steps to Reproduce

1.Create a list view in Pega 7.1.7.
2.On the Content Tab, Criteria section map a field( with a dot reference like -. IsResolvedFlag).
3.The Condition can be 'Is Equal' or 'Is Not Equal'.
4. The Value must also be a property reference( with a page reference like SpecialSearchCriteria.SearchPage.ExcludeResolvedCasesFlag, the Page can be of different class)
5.Both the Field and value must be of same property reference( like - Integer)
6.Save the list view.
7. You see the error ''Please Select a Column that is of same type as field'.

Root Cause

Validate_Report_Condition is not able to validate the properties if we use Page properties in the condition. Reference of mentioned root cause is SA-13394. 

Resolution

Existing hotfix in SA-13394 was ported back to proper version and was shipped as hotfix-24968.
