MetaData Accelerator does not parse a valid XSD File

Summary
MetaData Accelerator is used to create the class structure and parse rules. However the wizard is failing with below mentioned error.
The XSDs are correctly parsed by JAXB and standard XML displayer.

Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The prefix "tns" for attribute "tns:type" associated with an element type "xs:simpleType" is not bound.

Steps to Reproduce
Run the Connector and MetaData Accelerator and Load XML Schema Document provided.
Root Cause
The XSD was not valid. The tns namespace was not defined in the XSD.
Resolution
A corrected version of the XSD processes satisfactorily.
