Monitoring of the health of the TrackRemainingEfforts agent

Summary



Pega Administrator would like some assistance monitoring the standard Project Management (PMF) framework agents to ensure that they can recover from it going down in a timely manner and not lose any data as a result of it not running.

Have the TrackRemainingEfforts of PMF agent fail

Resolution



Although System Management  tool is normally used to check Agent health status this will only allow for on demand monitoring. Someone will need to log into SMA tool and observe the Agent health. For automatic monitoring and notification, you may use Autonomic Event Services product.

You can also send AlertEmail scorecards for specific alerts such as AlertEmailAgentDisabled
