Parse XML rule not parsing all elements returned by SOAP service

SA-13193

Summary

User is executing a Connect-SOAP call to retrieve transactions and an array of transactions is returned. The parse XML rule creates the correct number of pages on the clipboard, but data is missing for all transactions after the first transaction.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a parse XML record for a response data. Observe that clipboard contains information only from first transaction.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.  An issue with the XML parser causes repeated rows in XML responses to only have the first row parsed.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local-change:

Enable the old paser rules.  Switch the Dynamic System Setting "
switchtooldassembler" to true.  This action does turn on the old assembler, which does not have this issue.
