Pega OOTB reports are not suppressed in report browser

Summary
A developer has a requirement to use a different set of reports in the Report Browser. The developer asks how to remove the Pega standard reports from the Report Browser.
Error Messages
No errors are found in the Pega Logfile; no error messages are displayed on screen.
Steps to Reproduce
To reproduce this issue:
1. Login to the user portal
2. Navigate to report browser tab - the Pega standard reports are displayed.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in customer application code/rules. Each report to be displayed on the browser has a category, and there is an option to block the display of any OOTB category on report browser. This option was not present in the categories prior to PRPC 7.1.6.
Resolution
To remove a Pega Standard Report from the Report Browser, perform the following:
1. Identify the category to which the report is belongs to.
2. Save the category in an application ruleset.
3) Modify the value for Display in Report Browser for the saved category.
