Summary

Internal pega property pyCurrentSpace is not automatically set, when a portal is implemented with accordians and screen layouts.  Due to this the center panel does not get refreshed when the accordian is clicked.

Steps to Reproduce

In a harness, add accordians to the left side in a screen layout and check the clipboard to see if pyCurrentSpace is set.

Root Cause

Old portal implementations use accordians and panel set layout that are deprecated does not work as expected. Likewise the use of accordians with screen layouts is also not recommended.

Resolution

The best practice is to replace the deprecated layouts (Panel set and Accordion) with its counterparts (Screen layout and Layout Group).
