Query on CDM to DSM migration

SA-6699

Summary

User has certain rules present in CDM which they want to migrate to Pega 7.1 DSM. User sought assistance on the best approach to cater to this requirement.

As per the information that is available in PDN, user understands that CDM bridge could be used but they are not sure if this was the best approach. They have come up with a query that, 'if we use some tools for this then would also like to know its latest version and if it can migrate to Pega 7.1 and installation guides for the same.'

Resolution

It has been explained that the CDM Bridge will provide a way to migrate propositions and ADS models, this will also enable the remote execution of CDM logic and its sensitive to sending captured responses to the correct engine to record these. This would not translate the CDM logic and its main usage pattern is a co-existence one with support for proposition and model migration.
