RuleNotFoundException: Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-WHEN'

Summary



Sporadically at runtime, RuleNotFoundException exceptions are found in the logs.

Error Messages



RuleNotFoundException: Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-WHEN' with the name 'PXHASOPERATORPRIVILEGE' that applies to '@baseclass'. There were 1 rules with this name in the rulebase
, but none matched this request. The 1 rules named 'PXHASOPERATORPRIVILEGE' defined in the rulebase are:
1 related to applies-to class '@baseclass', but were defined on subclasses: 'Data-Portal'.

Steps to Reproduce



Close the pop-up window of a delegated rule.

Root Cause



The closing of the delegated rule pop-up window cleaned up portal pages.

Resolution



The issue is resolved in Pega 7.1.7. Refer to the PDN article given below:
