Sort and Filter functionality is not working for Grid Repeat

Summary
We have a Grid repeat layout. In this grid repeat properties(in expand pane) we have included a flow action which is having another grid repeat. For this grid we need sort and filter functionality. Even though i enabled the sort and filter check boxes for this grid repeat, in UI it is not working as expected.
Error Messages
For sorting: Cannot get property information for: Embed-OISPFW-FinCards..FinancialProductType. Details: Invalid value for aClassName, aPropertyName passed to com.pega.pegarules.data.internal.clipboard.PageComparator.getDefaultComparator(Executable, String, String)"
For Filter: We are not able to see the filter icon on UI for the grid repeat columns.
Steps to Reproduce
i. Create a section with grid repeat
ii. In grid repeat properties choose Expand Pane
iii. For the expand pane, choose a flow action which is having grid repeat layout(for this grid repeat, we should enable sort and filter check boxes in properties panel)
iv. When you run the application, you can't see the filter icon for the embedded grid. And for sorting we are getting below error in a window

Root Cause
The user is using a nested repeating grid and unable to sort or filter the inner repeating grid.
Resolution
The above functionality is not supported by the PRPC
