Test connectivity fails with unsupported type nvarchar

Summary
When testing connectivity to an external table that has a property that maps to column with data type nvarchar, the following message displays on screen.
Error Messages
Class your_class is mapped to table your_schema.your_table in database your_database, which has column your_nvarchar_column of unsupported type nvarchar
Steps to Reproduce
There is no specific use case to replicate this behavior.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Datatype nvarchar and nchar should be supported types.
Resolution
Apply HFix-24906.
