Error Messages

“ You cannot save instance RULE-CATEGORY MYREPORTS P!SFXXIUDD #20140916T122429.945 GMT to locked RuleSet XXCIGlSolutions:01-01-01”

Steps to Reproduce

1: Login to ‘Case Manager’ portal
2: Click on ‘My Reports’ tab to display existing reports in the report browser.
3: Click on ‘New Report’ link to create new report from the report browser.

Root Cause

While trying to create a new report/category from report browser, PRPC picks up initial version ’01-01-01’ of application ruleset instead of current production unlocked rule set version. As the initial version ’01-01-01’ of application rule set is locked, reported error is thrown on the screen when PRPC tries to create new report in locked rule set version.

Resolution

The issue can be resolved with the following local-change
Ad a production rule set and unlock version entries in user’s access group. After these changes, whenever a user tries to create a new report/category from report browser, PRPC tries to create those rules in the production ruleset mentioned under respective user access groups.
