Unable to delegate SLA rules

Summary



After updating to Pega 7.1.8, many rules can be delegated for their modification in production but a Service Level Agreement (SLA) delegation option is not available.

It is observed that in Pega 7.1.8, under the Actions menu the option Delegate does not appear.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open an SLA rule.
  2. Under the Actions menu, attempt to select Delegate.
  3. Observe that it isn't an option.


Root Cause



This issue is determined to be a product enhancement request. 

Resolution



HFix-26307 is created to partially support the feature.

Following scenarios are covered during Hot Fix testing:
  1. Delegation configuration is created for SLA rule.
  2. Verify that SLA rule in Pega- rule set cannot be delegated.
  3. Verify that only users having delegate privilege can delegate.
  4. Verify that the delegated rule is available on Case manager portal.
  5. Verify the editable fields in the delegated rule.
  6. Verify the non-editable fields in the delegated rule.
  7. Verify that the SLA rule cannot be delegated having property ref.
  8. Verify that delegated rule in locked rule set can't be edited.
  9. Verify check in/check out of the delegated rules from end user portal.
