Summary

There is a requirement to deploy an EAR file as part of Pega 7.1.7 installation to JBOSS 6.3. The procedure to configure and deploy the EAR file is unavailable.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Pega 7.1.7.
2. Follow the steps in the installation guide to configure JBOSS.
3. Try to deploy the EAR "prpc_j2ee14_jboss61JBM.ear".

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is an error/omission in product documentation.
There is no mention of the EAR file that has to be chosen out of all the files that are provided in the archives directory of the media, and there are no instructions provided for EAR installation, even though there is a difference in the steps to be followed.
