Unable to modify step in activity rule in IE11

SA-13058

Summary

Unable to modify the step in an activity rule in Developer portal after upgrading to IE11.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Upgrade to IE11.
2. Open an activity rule in Developer portal to add a step. Observe that you do not see the parameters for that method as seen in the attachment.

Root Cause

Developer portal is not supported with IE11, even with emulation enabled.
IE11 is only supported for end user portals in PRPC 6.2 SP2.

Resolution

Initially, when you provide a method (for example: Obj-Browse) in activity step and expand, it does not expand correctly in IE11. But, once you click Save and expand the step, it works fine.

The recommended long-term solution is an upgrade to Pega 7.
