Summary

Scheduled unit test suite execution fails with an error with Pega 7.1.7.

Error Messages

“Authentication modification permitted via privileged path only - invalid caller: RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY RULE-AUTOTEST-CASE RUNTESTSUITEFROMAGENT”

Steps to Reproduce

 

1. Add the "PegaRULES:AutoTest" access role to a user.
2. Log in with the created user ID.
3. Add a test case and refer it in a unit test suite. 
4. Enable the Pega-AutoTest agent.
5. Schedule the created test suite form the Automated Unit Tests landing page.

 

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. 

Resolution

Apply update release Pega 7.2.1 to resolve the issue​.
