Error Messages

Pega0017 ALERT messages in PegaRULES-ALERT log file viz.
*declaratives/fragments: Successfully reduced Concurrent MRU Map by201 down to: 1000.*

Steps to Reproduce

Not Applicable

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. The default value of
declaratives/fragments MRU cache size of 1000 is too small for the Pega Application. Hence, PegaRULES engine is repeatedly trying to bring the size down to the set limit and thereby generating these ALERTs.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change:

Add this Dynamic System Setting and set its value to 5000
    prconfig/declaratives/fragments/instancecountlimit/default
