Steps to Reproduce
Launch Track & Monitor > Visual Business Director
Root Cause
This is a client Java Runtime Environment (JRE) compatibility issue that causes the Visual Business Director applet failure to launch.
Resolution
1. Ensure that the correct JRE version is used on the client machine. If Internet Explorer is running 32 bit, then 32 bit JRE should also be used.
2. Java 1.8 is not supported until Pega 7.1.8. Any Pega version earlier than Pega 7.1.8 should run Java 7 JRE, else the Visual Business Director applet will not launch.
