Summary

Camera icons/controls are not working in Pega Mobile. While testing the mobile application with 2 IOS apple tabs and 2 Android tabs, the application does not always work.

Steps to Reproduce

• Develop PEGA mobile app on "PEGA 7.1.9 and add "Pega-Mobile_mobile:07-10, Pega-Mobile:07-10" rule sets in application stack.
• try to access the same app in Apple IOS tablet, use attach by camera feature for a work object

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules: The usage of pega-mobile rulesets is not recommended for Pega7.x , it was designed for older versions.
we suggest you to use OOB Pega 7.x dynamic layouts which would render in mobile perfectly in Pega 7.1.9

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

When attaching files from device or pics from camera, use OOB control called pxAttachContent, used in OOB circumstanced section called pzAttachContentScreen, (for mobile devices it will ask user whether they want to attach the files from device or by taking a picture from camera).
