Summary

Unable to log into a Chat Server. The Chat Server menu is not populated in the Chat Login popup. A server is created, but nothing appears in the list.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a PegaChat server.
2. Attempt to log into the created PegaChat server.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
User-defined functions (UDFs) of Pega are not installed in the environment. Out-of-the-box functionality does not require installation of UDFs.

Resolution

Make the following change to the operating environment:

Install the UDFs or expose the following properties:

• pyprotocol
• pyhostname
• pyhostport
• servertype
